The 2009 World Congress on Electronics and Electrical Engineering, WCEEENG'09, April 6-9, 2009,
The main objective of the congress was to cover contemporary technology in the area of electronics and electrical engineering. The congress included in its activities: regular papers that cover theory, design and technical aspects, invited lecturers, planner talks, seminars, workshops and exhibition.
The congress provided a rich scientific forum for overall world university faculties; research institutes researchers and industry specialists. This occasion provided a chance to exchange information in the following designated fields of interest:
- Electrical Power
- Computer Science and Engineering
- Control Systems and Robotics
- Signal Processing
- Circuits and Systems
From (177) abstract submitted to the conference, a number of (132) abstract were accepted and the rest of abstracts were rejected. The (132) full manuscript submitted to the conference secretary, were reviewed. Just (89) papers have been accepted for suitable publication in the conference and (43) were rejected. Through these (89) selected papers, (51) papers from (30) countries were presented during the conference interval, from 6 to 9 April 2009 in different (16) scientific sessions. In addition to scientific sessions, the conference activities included different (3) invited lecture, keynote lecture, and planned talk. The list of invited lecture, keynote lecture, and planned talk are:
- Survey of VOIP-Based Technology and Suggestions for Improvements
- Electrical Engineering in Modern Metro Systems EEMMS
- Electromagnetic Mind Control Weapons
Also, there will be two lectures on the opening ceremony:
- An Integrated Approach to Research and Academic Quality Management in Engineering Education
- The Source of Customer Satisfaction and Good Reputation in the Power Market
Finally the conference steering committee hopes that the conference has been achieved its planned mission and would like to acknowledge all contributors, members of the scientific committee and chairmen of the conference session.

Best Paper Prize
A $1000 best paper prize was awarded to the best paper presented at the conference. It's awarded to Dr. Ahmed M. Elbakly, M.T.C., Cairo, Egypt, for his paper entitled with: “Design of Double-Layer Rubber Radar Absorbing Sheet”.
